How to swap crypto on Swapabit
Your first swap, step by step, from picking the coins to seeing them arrive in your wallet.
Swapabit compares what every exchange will give you for your coins, so you can pick the best offer and swap without creating an account. Here is the whole flow, start to finish. It takes a few minutes, most of it waiting for the blockchain.
Pick what you send and receive
Open the Exchange page. The From box is the coin you send, the To box is the coin you receive. Tap either coin to change it. The picker has a search box and tabs for popular coins, stablecoins, and the day's biggest movers.
Some coins live on more than one network. Swapabit shows the network in brackets, for example USDT [Ethereum] or USDT [Tron]. Pick the network your wallet actually uses, because the network is part of the address.
Then type an amount. You can type on either side: enter what you want to send, or enter what you want to receive and let Swapabit work out the rest.
Compare the routes
As soon as you stop typing, Swapabit asks every connected exchange for a quote at the same time. Each answer becomes a route. A route shows what you receive, what that is worth in your currency, and how far it is from the best offer.
You can sort the routes by Best Match, Best Rate, or Fastest, and filter them to Fixed or Floating rates. Not sure which rate type you want? Read Fixed or floating first.
Quotes move with the market, so the list refreshes itself every 30 seconds. When you have found the route you like, click it.
Enter your address
The next step shows a summary of your swap and asks for your receive address. That is the address in your own wallet where the coins you are buying will land. Paste it carefully and check the network once more.
The refund address is optional. It is where your coins go back if the exchange cannot complete the swap. Some exchanges ask for one, and it never hurts to add it.
A few coins, like XRP, also use a memo or tag. If your wallet or exchange gave you one, enter it too.
Tick the box to agree to the terms and press Exchange.
Send your deposit
You now have an order. Its page shows exactly how much to send, on which network, and to which address. Copy the address with one click or scan the QR code with your phone wallet.
Send exactly the amount shown. If the order says a memo is required, include it, or your deposit cannot be matched to your swap. With a fixed rate, a timer shows how long the quote is valid, so send before it runs out.
Watch it arrive
The progress bar at the top of the order walks through each stage: waiting for your deposit, confirming it on the blockchain, exchanging, and sending to you. You can close the page and come back later. Track your swap explains every stage and what to do if something goes wrong.
When the last stage completes, the coins are in your wallet. That is it.
